Blessings of Ramadan and The Holy Qur’aan

The Blessed Holy Qur’aan, was revealed during this month.

“The month of Ramadan in which was sent the Qur’aan-the Guidance for Mankind”

as a clear proof of that guidance and as a

criterion for distinguishing between right and

wrong”

Hazrat Ibn Abbas [Radi Allaahu-Anhu] the Beloved Sahaaba narrates that the Mubaarak Qur’aan was sent down as o single whole from the Well –Preserved Tablet [Al –Lauh Al Mahfooz] on the Night Of Power [Laylat ul Qaadr] in the month of Ramadaan.

It was thereupon installed in the House of Glory[

Bait-ul’Izza] in the heaven of this lower world: angel Jibraeel [peace be upon him] then brought it down and revealed it to the

Holy Prophet Muhammad

[Sallal Laahu ‘Alaiehi Wa Sallam]

in a series of installments over the course of twenty three years.
