THE BLESSED MOTHER OF THE HOLY PROPHET

The name of the Beloved
Noble Mother of the Holy Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلّم is Hazrat Bibi
Aaminah, she was the daughter of Wahaab, the son of Hashim, who was the son of
Abd Munaaf. She was known as the most beautiful, virtuous, modest, and chaste
lady. Hazrat Aaminah was also
a believer in الله سبحانه وتعالى and was on the religion of Hazrat Ibraheem [Alaiehis
Salaam].

When she died,
the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلّم was six years of age. Thus, the noble
mother of the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلّم also belonged to the family of
great distinguished Nobility and was a Monotheist. 

The Mother of the
Believers Hazrat Aishaah narrates, رضي الله عنه we were with the Prophet صلى
الله عليه وسلّم during the farewell Hajj. We passed a place called ‘Uqbat
al-Hajun’ The grave of the Mother of the Prophet, Hazrat Aaminah is situated
here. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلّم went to the grave and was very sad, tears
were coming out of HIS blessed eyes. 

When the Prophet صلى
الله عليه وسلّم left and came back from the blessed grave he was very happy and
smiling. Hazrat Aishaah asked the Holy Prophet

 صلى الله عليه وسلّم about the sudden change in
the mood.

The Holy Prophet
replied

 “When I was standing near the grave I made a
dua to Allaah الله سبحانه وتعالى to resurrect my mother, my dua was accepted
and Allaah الله سبحانه وتعالى brought her back to life, she recited the kalimah
and then passed away again.
