Allaah Almighty take the Oath on the City of Makaah-Surah Balad-Holy Quraan

Allaah Almighty

says in the Holy
Quraan

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ
الرَّحِيمِ

لَا
أُقْسِمُ بِهَـٰذَا الْبَلَدِ

I take an Oath by
this city of Makaah,

[Although
I am independent and have no need to swear an Oath].

وَأَنتَ
حِلٌّ بِهَـٰذَا الْبَلَدِ

Because you
[Muhammad] are an inhabitant of this city.  

3. And I cite the
father [Hazrat] Abraham/Ibraheem and the son Ishmael/Ismaaeel as a witness.

 وَوَالِدٍ وَمَا وَلَدَ

I swear by this
city not because the Kaabah, Hateem, Hajr e Aswad, and the Safaa Marwa are
here. But because ‘O Beloved your blessed
feet touch the soil of the city”
